Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff will not attend the Azerbaijan Grand Prix due to a busy schedule.

Operativ Media reports, citing GPblog, that the Austrian specialist will not travel to Baku and will follow the race weekend remotely. In his absence, the team will be led by Bradley Lord.

This is not the first time Wolff has missed certain Grands Prix due to the demanding seasonal calendar. He was also absent from the Mercedes garage during the Japanese Grand Prix earlier this season.

The Baku race will be the first leg of a triple-header leading up to the season finale. Ahead of the race weekend, Wolff addressed the team, emphasizing the importance of consistency, thorough preparation, and flawless operational execution in the final stretch of the season.
