Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Duric on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

During the meeting, the current state and development prospects of the Azerbaijan-Serbia strategic partnership were discussed.

The ministers exchanged views on the development of cooperation in political, economic, trade, energy, transport, and humanitarian fields, as well as regional and international security issues.

The meeting highlighted the important role of high-level contacts, political dialogue, and interparliamentary relations in developing bilateral ties.

They also noted the contribution of mechanisms such as the Azerbaijan-Serbia Strategic Partnership Council, the Intergovernmental Commission, and regular political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries to expanding cooperation.
