It has been announced that the presidential elections in Venezuela will be held at a time deemed appropriate by the people.

Operativ Media reports that this was stated by Venezuela's Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez during her speech at the UN General Assembly.

According to her, elections will be held in the country, and a political dialogue has already begun with opposition representatives. Rodriguez stated that this process will aim to ensure equal conditions for all parties.

She noted that the Venezuelan people will determine the appropriate time for holding the elections, and the country's institutions will be ready to ensure an inclusive and transparent process.

Rodriguez stated that one of the necessary conditions for holding the elections is the lifting of the "economic restrictions" imposed on Venezuela.

Venezuela's Executive Vice President called on the international community to support the changes taking place in the country. According to her, Venezuela wants to exercise its rights as a sovereign state without foreign interference and to be respected internationally.
