The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the rules for registering unregistered foreign online companies for tax purposes in Azerbaijan.

Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree to this effect, Operativ Media reports.

Under the decision, if the annual turnover of a foreign company providing online services to non-taxpayers in Azerbaijan exceeds $10,000, the company must register for electronic tax within 30 days.

Registration is voluntary for companies with a turnover below this threshold.
