Arsenal plan to extend the contract of England midfielder Declan Rice.

Operativ Media reports, citing The Guardian, that the London club intends to keep the 27-year-old player in the team for the long term.

Rice's current contract has two years remaining, and Arsenal also have the option to extend the deal for another season. Nevertheless, the club's management wants to agree on new terms with the player.

Declan Rice has been playing for Arsenal since the summer of 2023. He has made 164 appearances for the London club in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 33 assists.
