On September 11, a large quantity of drugs was discovered as a result of border search and operational measures carried out in the service area of the "Horadiz" border detachment of the State Border Service's Border Troops.
Specifically, at 03:11, a total of 65 kilograms and 500 grams of drugs, which were dropped via a paraglider from the Islamic Republic of Iran into the Republic of Azerbaijan, were discovered and seized from illicit circulation in the service area of the border detachment.
Operational and investigative measures into the incident are ongoing.
